Bill Carson

Born and raised in San Diego.  Attended local public schools thru high school, graduated from Hoover High School and San Diego State.  Entered the Air Force upon graduation and served four years at March Air Force Base in Riverside.  Currently resides in Carlsbad after raising a family in the El Cajon area.

Married native San Diegan Ann Hopkins and raised two children, a son Scott and a daughter Leslie.  Scott resides in Vista and just graduated from Palomar College.  Leslie graduated from SMU in Dallas and now lives in San Antonio with her family; husband Danny and sons Carter and Carson.

Bill has owned several small businesses and currently is president and CEO of WestCap Fund, Inc., a small investment firm specializing in residential development.  Worked in the real estate financial arena for over 30 years in San Diego.

He has served on the boards of many Christian organizations, but a few stand out over the years of involvement.  One of the most rewarding organizations was Prison Fellowship Ministries led by Chuck Colson.  While serving on the board he also taught a weekly Bible Study at Donovan State Prison for five years.  Another great organization he loves is The Barnabas Group of San Diego.  After graduating from The Masters Program along side several other Solana Pres members, including Pastor Mike, he helped found the San Diego Barnabas Group and has served on its board for eight years.
