Suzy is the Bookkeeper for The Barnabas Group San Diego and Orange County chapters.
Suzy is COO/CFO for Christian Leadership Alliance. Prior to employment at CLA, she was a legal secretary and bookkeeper for 18 years, and received two paralegal certificates from University of California, Irvine in 1993. Suzy worked as a paralegal in the fields of real estate, estate planning, corporate law and bankruptcy, as well as prepared tax returns for an accounting firm.
Suzy works closely with the CLA staff and CEO, managing operations and overseeing finance. She wears many conference hats, including F&B, registration, special meetings, hotel room block, vendor contracts, shipping, and volunteer coordination. Suzy also liaisons with the Board, assists with marketing, reviews contracts, oversees the annual audit, and maintains governance compliance. She loves the challenge of new projects and recently received her CCNL.
Her passions include long distance hiking, missions trips, and Brazilian jiu jitsu.
